Kygo set the bar high. I don't feel this collaboration at all, but I hope it resonantes with the new audiences.
Yes this is a step down. The original song is full of energy this is a bit of a drag. It doesn't bring me to my feel. If they can't do Whitney's song justice like Kygo did or better than he did then they shouldn't f'king do it at all.

@plaza3221 : I loved Kygo's remix of Higher Love from the very first secods. Maybe it's because this one is so classic that I don't get why they chose it as the next single, there are way more obscure songs they could've used. Anyway, I hope this remix does well or even better than Higher Love.

To me this song is such a classic and somethings should just be left alone. However if you are going to mix her music. Do it based off her! Get in a zone and honestly think about what they feel whitney would have approved of and actually liked herself. Whitney’s estate is running all of this, so they know her personally all of her likes and dislikes. I just feel like some of these mixes are starting to just be anything just to put some music out to continue profiting off of her. They need to take the time and stick to her artistry and style of who she was as an actual artist. Get with actual producers and songwriters like baby face, or producers that actually worked with her. They would know what to do best when it comes to mixing her songs. Kygo’s mix was good and u can tell he really took the time not to ruin her classics. This just sound like a producer in his basement just added some music to her lyrics just saying. As much money her estate has made through the decades that PAT is still so money hungry to leech off of her and it’s honestly sickening.
